Most first-year students are housed at ABAC’s newest residence hall,
ABAC Lakeside. This facility
features two-person suites with one bathroom and four-person suites with
two bathrooms. All suites are equipped with a kitchenette with full-size refrigerator with ice-maker, a microwave, sink, and cabinet and counter space. Each student will be furnished an
extra-long twin-size bed, chest of drawers, desk with chair, and a closet. Also furnished are wireless internet access, cable, and all utilities.
Cost per person for the 2010-2011 academic year (fall & spring
semesters) for a two-person, single occupancy suite (private bedroom, share bathroom with suitemate) is $4,240. One half of this amount ($2,120) is due
by the fee payment deadline prior to the beginning of fall and spring semesters. Cost
per person for the 2010-2011 academic year (fall & spring semesters) for a four-person, double occupancy suite (share bedroom and bathroom
with one roommate) is $3,660. One half of this amount ($1,830) is due by
the fee payment deadline prior to the beginning of fall and spring semesters. A non-refundable reservation fee of $235 is required to reserve a room.
After ABAC Lakeside reaches capacity, a limited number of freshmen will live at
ABAC Place, on-campus apartments with four private bedrooms,
two baths, a full kitchen, and living room. Each bedroom at ABAC Place is furnished with a full-size bed,
chest of drawers, desk with chair, and a closet.
The living room is furnished with a sofa, chair, and tables. The kitchen features a stove, microwave, dishwasher,
full-size refrigerator with ice maker, double sink, pantry, and ample counter and cabinet space. All utilities,
internet access, and cable are included.
Cost per person for the 2010-2011 academic year (fall & spring semesters) is $4,920. One half of this amount ($2,460) is due
by the fee payment deadline prior to the beginning of fall and spring semesters.
Students may request a 12-month contract with cost per person for the
2010-2011 academic year (August - July) is $5,660. One half of this amount ($2,830) is due
by the fee payment deadline prior to the beginning of fall and spring semesters. A non-refundable reservation fee of $235 is required to reserve a room.
Regardless of where you live on campus, as a first-year student you will receive programming designed to
help you make a smooth transition to college life. You will also have access to first-rate recreational areas
for your leisure-time enjoyment.
