The Abraham Baldwin Honors Program is
a
combination of special experiences during the freshman and sophomore years which
together provide a more meaningful college career for academically talented
students than would otherwise be the case.
The
Honors Program consists of Honors Seminar courses and specifically
modified Core Curriculum Honors courses. These courses are scheduled alongside
other courses required for completion of the student's degree and comprise the
Honors curriculum.
Upon completion of the Honors Program, students will find themselves much better prepared
to undertake junior and senior level work at institutions to which they
transfer after leaving ABAC. Honors Program graduates will, in fact,
have an edge in successfully completing their bachelor's or professional
degrees.
