MATH 0097/0099 Beginning and Intermediate Algebra

The successful completion of Math 0097 and 0099 will result in 4 semester credit hours for each course.

Goals and Objectives: This is a two-course sequence which emphasizes the fundamentals of elementary algebra. It is required for those students whose backgrounds need strengthening for college-level algebra work.
The Math 0097/Math 0099 sequence is designed to prepare you to pass the Compass math exam and to prepare you for your appropriate college-level mathematics classes.
Students who pass Math 0097 with an A, B, or C are expected to register for Math 0099 the next semester.
