These are required
  • Use the applicable requirements listed for either “Freshman” or “Transfer”, except SAT/ACT scores will not be required.

Non-traditional freshman students (HS grads) – per USG BOR policy 4.2.1.4

  1. Have been out of high school at least five (5) years and whose high school class graduated at least five years ago, and
  2. Hold a high school diploma from an accredited or approved high school as specified in section 4.2.1.1 of USG BOR policy, or have satisfactorily completed the GED; and
  3. Have earned fewer than 30 transferable semester credit hours.

To be admitted, non-traditional students must have an “admissions GPA” equal to, or greater than, 2.0, and they will be required to take placement tests for reading, English, and mathematics.
