Students who do not have HS diplomas and/or GPAs

Admissions will be based on applicable guidelines, either BOR policy or institutional guidelines.  Students who do not have the requisite high school transcripts from which to calculate an admissions GPA will be admitted when they submit an SAT score of 980 or greater (combined critical reading and math) on a test taken after March 2016, or the equivalent ACT score. The codes for ABAC are: ACT, 0781/SAT, 11675.  *After the March 2016 test date, scores will be converted using the SAT concordance table provided by College Board.  Applicants may submit scores from either the old SAT or the new SAT.   This applies to home schooled, international, and GED students.  Other criteria may apply.

Except under exceptional circumstances, GED students will not be considered for admission to the College until their cohort has graduated from high school.  GED students who qualify as “non-traditional students” will be admitted under the guidelines for admission of non-traditional students.
