Use the Template for New Web Pages

1. Map a Network Drive using T: (if available) to \\abac_web\template
2. Open FrontPage or SharePoint
3. Set FrontPage to open template (CFM) pages (not necessary for SharePoint)
4. Open 1column.cfm or 2columns.cfm or 3columns.cfm or ProfessorTemplate.cfm -- see examples
5. Note: If you use 2columns.cfm, an accompanying leftlinks.cfm file is present and will be needed.
6. File [Menu]
7. Save As [pull-down menu]
8. Save the file to your W: (web drive) as Index.cfm (homepage)
9. Note 1: You will not see the template pulled into FrontPage. You can view the template in Internet Explorer. See images below from FrontPage and Internet Explorer.
10. Note 2: You will not see the hitcounter (as part of the bottom template) at the very bottom until the page has been visited two times.
