Maintain Web Pages on ABAC Web Site

Do not post web pages ONLY in DOC (Microsoft Word), XLS (Microsoft Excel), or PPT (Microsoft PowerPoint) . Students may not have Microsoft Office on their home PCs. Please post as PDF (Adobe Acrobat Reader) or HTM (Browser: Internet Explorer or Netscape).

Getting Started Steps

1. Change your ABAC Web password

2. Map a Network Drive on a PC vs. on a Mac

3. Create/Edit web pages using remaining links

Open Template (CFM) pages with FrontPage

Apply Template to Existing Web Pages v. Use Template for New Web Pages

Disconnect a mapped network drive

Beginners' Level -- New document, Open, Save, Insert Graphic, Insert Hyperlink
Intermediate Level -- Add background, theme, date/time, scrolling marquee, hover button, table

Save PDFs to web site

Use File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to transfer files to a server
