ABAC is about to celebrate its 100^th birthday.  But, more importantly, we’re about to start our second century of service.  The $5 million Centennial Campaign outlined in these pages coincides with that Celebration.

The Campaign has two major goals: to maintain broad-based access, while attracting top academic students in the state to ABAC; and to educate the whole student through excellence in both extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. 

Never before has the institution faced the future with so much strength.  Yet ABAC, like other public colleges and universities, is now in an era where a rising share of essential funds must come from the private sector.  While ABAC continues to be treated well by the State, we have in effect become state-assisted, not state-funded.  We willingly assume responsibility to do more for ourselves. 

To accomplish our goals, we must take advantage of the strong position ABAC is in, and we must seek engagement at all levels, particularly with alumni, friends, and the people we serve.  Dedicated supporters like you will move ABAC to the next level.  Your long term support is significant, but the immediate need is $5 million over the next two years.
