President's Club
Criteria for Membership
Membership in the President's Club
is open to all alumni, ABAC faculty and staff members, and friends of the
college as individuals. Institutions and corporations may designate individuals
to receive credit toward membership for gifts given by the institution or
corporation.
Membership is granted, upon approval, by contributing or pledging to contribute
to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Foundation, Inc., through a choice of
plans:
l. A gift of $10,000 or more in cash, securities, real property, or gifts in kind - payable in full or a minimum of $1,000 per year within ten years; or,
2. A planned gift of $25,000 or more payable through bequest (will), a life income agreement, or another planned giving instrument acceptable to the Foundation; or,
3. An irrevocable whole life insurance policy (not term) of $25,000 or more naming the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Foundation, Inc. as the owner and beneficiary on the life of the donor (or spouse); or,
4. A cash/bequest gift combination of $5,000 outright or $500 per year within ten years and a minimum bequest of $15,000 or any other gift combinations or arrangements of comparable value acceptable to the Foundation; or,
5. A matching gift combination, payable within ten years - a gift of $5,000 by an individual and a corporate matching gift of $5,000.
All contributions through Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Foundation, Inc. for Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College are entitled to all tax benefits authorized by law.
