A Prestigious Affiliation
Members
of the President's Club provide the nucleus of private support to Abraham
Baldwin Agricultural College. Though their gifts represent seventy-five percent
of the ABAC Foundation's support from individuals, President's Club members
constitute only eight percent of ABAC's benefactors. Truly, the growth and
preservation of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College depend heavily upon the
generosity of these few who share the vision of strong quality education.
Since its beginning, the President's
Club has provided not only financial support but also a consistent base of
volunteers to serve on the alumni board, Foundation board, college advisory
boards, campus hosting and committees in all areas.
Members of the President's Club become
effective ambassadors for the College. They influence and challenge others to
consider involvement with ABAC. The power of example serves to encourage others
to consider investing in ABAC. Some of the greatest gifts to the College were
stimulated by suggestions or endorsement from one friend to another. Such
testimony of support is most valuable to the College.
Although the President's Club is an
elite affiliation, its membership is not sought for the rewards of
acknowledgment. Instead, members are concerned with the assurance that the goals
and principles of the College endure.
