HELPFUL HINTS FOR ATTENDING

PARKING                CONCERT                DINNER

 

Parking:

 1.  We encourage you to car pool.

 2.  Please follow the directions of ABAC Security when parking.  The North lot, directly in front of the John Hunt Auditorium, will be the closest entrance for dinner and the concert.  The West lot is next and, finally, the South lot. 

 3.  The circle drive in front of the John Hunt Auditorium may be used to “drop off” or “pick up” passengers, including those requiring handicapped assistance.  There are two handicapped ramps leading from the circle.  Please notify the ABAC Foundation in advance, if you will require assistance.

 4.  Enter the building through the two main doors on the circle directly in front of the John Hunt Auditorium.  You can read the name of the Auditorium on the far wall as you enter.  Look for the big Thank You sign. 

 5.  All other entrances to the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center will be locked, including the canopied one.

 

 

Concert :

1.  The concert is being held in the John Hunt Auditorium at the Tifton Campus Conference Center.

2.  The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. 

3.  Interior doors to the auditorium may be closed when you arrive.  They will be opened in ample time for all guests to be seated by 8:00 p.m., but not until the concert hall is released by the sound/light technicians. 

4.  ABAC Ambassadors will be present to assist you with seating, if necessary.

5.  All seats in the John Hunt Auditorium are reserved.  Please time your arrival accordingly and  have your ticket with you at all times.  No one will be admitted without a ticket.

6.  As you enter the auditorium, 100 series numbered seats are to the left, 200 series numbered seats in the center, and 300 series numbered seats to the right.  Row A is the closest to the stage.  Row DD is closest to the auditorium entrance.

7.  No food or drink is allowed in the John Hunt AuditoriumNo cell phones or recording devices are allowed in the auditorium.  Please turn them off or leave them at home.

8.  No intermission is planned from 8:00 p.m. through the end of the concert.  Some of the rows are exceptionally long.  Therefore, in consideration of your fellow concert goers, it is advisable to make restroom stops before entering the auditorium. 

9.  Anyone requiring handicapped assistance must notify the ABAC Foundation office in advance.  There is a special ramp way requiring usher assistance for access.

 

 

Dinner  (Red ticket):

1.  The Ballroom will open at 6:30 p.m. for the buffet dinner.  Dress for the evening is Dressy Casual.

2.   ABAC Ambassadors will be present in each section to assist you in locating your table. 

3.   If seated at a reserved table, please coordinate an arrival time for those sitting at your table.

4.  Buffet tables will be ready for serving at 6:30 p.m.  You may go directly to the food service lines and then find your seat/table.  We encourage you to do this.

6.  In order to find your table with ease please note the section (A, B, or C) and the table number.
