ABAC's Excellence in Service Initiative
On August 1, 2006, Governor Sonny Perdue asked all state
agencies to assist in achieving the goal of making Georgia the best-managed
state in the country by 2007. The "Customer Service Improvement
Initiative" has the overall goal of providing easier access to services and
faster and friendlier processing of services.
In support of the Governor's initiative, Chancellor Erroll B.
Davis, Jr., asked all institutions within the University System of Georgia to
appoint a Customer Service Champion whose responsibility would be to work with
campus units to identify customer service projects and then develop customer
service implementation plans. ABAC's Customer Service Champion is Diane
Kilgore, Director of ABAC's Public Service and Business Outreach Office.
ABAC's participation and progress in the CS initiative will be
documented on this site. The University System of Georgia's CS web site
can be accessed at
www.customerfocus.usg.edu.
