Truck and Tractor Pull March 23-25 at ABAC

March 9, 2017

The Agricultural Engineering Technology Club at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will host a truck and tractor pull March 23-25 at the ABAC Pull Track.  The events on March 23-24 will begin at 7 p.m., and the pulling action on March 25 begins at 6 p.m.

Amateur Night on March 23 kicks off the three-day event.  Tickets are only $5 per person with free trackside parking for the event.  Truck owners can participate in the pull for $5 per pull.  A special ABAC students-only pulling class will also be part of the night’s schedule.

Highlighting the truck and tractor pull will be ABAC’s own Altered Allis on March 24-25.  Admission for each of those nights is $15 for adults, $10 for children 6-10 years of age, free to children five and under, and $10 for ABAC students with a current ID.  Trackside parking is $50 which includes one spectator admission.

The Southern Pullers Association, Inc., was formed in the early 90s to help organize all the local pullers who have been pulling for years under other sanctioning bodies. Some of the regular pullers have been pulling since the early 70s and are still dedicated pullers with the Southern Pullers Association organization today.
