Bottles and Brushes Art Class at ABAC’s Georgia Museum of Agriculture November 10

October 26, 2017

All participants at the “Cider and Paint” Bottles and Brushes class on Nov. 10 will enjoy complimentary apple cider while they paint at the Gallery of the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Georgia Museum of Agriculture.

Directed by local artist Brenda Rose, this month’s session focuses on Rose’s painting titled “Fall is in the Air.” Rose will guide participants through the process, while students create their own interpretation before their eyes.  The Gallery at the Museum will provide the paint, canvas and brushes.

Participants must register ahead of time by contacting Polly Huff, assistant director and curator at the Museum, at phuff@abac.edu. The class fee is $25 per person or $40 for couples.  It is non-refundable and non-transferable. The fee includes all supplies and instruction. Registration for the class is on a first come, first served basis upon payment of the fee. Space is limited so early registration is important.

Companies who are looking for a unique team-building experience or a way to reward exceptional employees can participate in the corporate edition of Bottles and Brushes.  The corporate painting will be custom-tailored to fit each company’s mascot, theme, or idea. Gift certificates are available for future classes.

Crystal York, a rural studies major from Pavo, is assisting Huff with the 2017 Bottles and Brushes series as a part of her internship at the Museum.
