ABAC Ambassador Application Deadline August 22

Applications are now being accepted for one of the most prestigious student organizations at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Director of Public Relations Ashley Mock said the ABAC Ambassadors are a select group of students chosen for their enthusiasm, leadership ability, and communication skills who represent ABAC in Tifton and across the state of Georgia.
Ambassador applications are available in the Public Relations Office in Tift Hall and on the ABAC web site at www.abac.edu/student-life/campus-life/clubs-organizations/abac-ambassadors. Completed applications must be turned in to the Public Relations Office by noon on Aug. 22.
All applicants will attend a social on Aug. 25 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on the second floor of Tift Hall and complete an interview with the selection committee on Aug. 26. Those students who are selected as ABAC Ambassadors will attend the mandatory leadership retreat on Sept. 5-7.
Ambassadors represent the college at events such as Stallion Day, Homecoming, Honors Day, Evening for ABAC, and commencement. For more information on the Ambassadors, students can call Mock or Public Relations Assistant Lindsey Roberts at (229) 391-5055.
