Sophomore Music Recital March 28 at ABAC

TIFTON –The School of Liberal Arts at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will present a sophomore music recital March 28 at 7 p.m. in the ABAC Chapel of All Faiths.

 Six voice students will perform a selection of pieces from noted composers Richard Strauss, Johannes Brahms, Robert Schumann, Giacomo Puccini, and others. This concert is open to the public at no charge. 

Student performers include Joseph Bishop, a music major from Fitzgerald, baritone; Kevin Frizzell, a business administration major from Tifton, baritone; Brian Holland, a music major from Fitzgerald, tenor; Patrick Ireland, a music major from Tifton, baritone; Katelyn Payne, a music major from Moultrie, soprano; and Briahana Rogers, a music major from Tifton, soprano. 

The singers will be accompanied by Dr. Douglas Jurs, assistant professor of theory and piano for the ABAC music program and accompanist for all ABAC choral groups; and Gina Lawhon, an elementary school music teacher at Len Lastinger School.
