Free Assistance With Financial Aid Forms May 29 at ABAC On the Square

TIFTON–Financial aid experts will be available to help college-bound students and their families complete and submit the federal financial aid form on May 29 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at ABAC on the Square in Downtown Moultrie.

Director of Student Financial Services Traci Bryan said ABAC personnel will be on hand to assist high school seniors in the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in the computer lab, room 105. FAFSA is the federally required form for all students seeking financial aid, including federal and state grants, loans and work-study programs.

“Completing the FAFSA is the first crucial step in applying for federal and state grants, loans and scholarships to assist in the cost of a college education,” Bryan said.  “Our goal is to make this process as easy as possible for students so they can concentrate on getting ready for college.”

Bryan encourages all students to bring income tax returns for 2012 in order to complete the application.
