ABAC Financial Aid Deadline July 1
TIFTON –New students who wish to receive financial aid at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College during the 2013 fall semester should complete a financial aid application by July 1.
“This July 1 date is the priority deadline for financial aid,” said Traci Bryan, Director of Student Financial Services at ABAC. “Students who turn in financial aid applications after that time may not have their financial aid processed in time for the start of the fall term on August 14.”
Students who complete their financial aid applications after July 1 should be prepared to pay their tuition fees themselves. They will be reimbursed for the financial aid package they qualify for once the processing is complete. Transfer students are also eligible for financial aid from ABAC.
The fee payment deadline for the fall term is Aug. 1 by 3 p.m.
“Bills will go out to the students’ email accounts before fee payment deadline on August 1 so they will know how much they need to pay by that deadline,” Bryan said. “If they have not paid by the deadline then the schedules will be dropped.”
