Course prerequisites 

Once you are registered for your Learning Support course(s) you can select certain additional classes.

Many courses have a Learning Support prerequisite, which means you must be out of Learning Support before you can add these courses to your schedule.

Important: If you are in more than one Learning Support course, please check all prerequisite lists that apply to you in order to eliminate enrollment in the wrong classes.

Please remember that some courses have a previous course as a requirement. Some ask for a certain GPA, other courses, for example Physical Education course PHED 1137, is not designed for non-swimmers. Many of the Music classes are for members of the Band and Choir or they require an audition. Always check the ABAC catalogue for course details or talk to your advisor before selecting any classes.

English Learning Support

Courses with Learning Support English prerequisites:

If you placed in English Learning Support you are not able to select certain courses. Many courses offered have English as a prerequisite. Other courses can't be chosen because of previous course restrictions. Always check the ABAC catalog to make sure you qualify to enroll in a course. For a complete list of courses with an English Learning Support prerequisite click the link below. Remember that you can't add these classes until you exit the Learning Support area.

 Advanced courses (3000 and up) are not listed.

If you are in more than one Learning Support area always cross check in all lists for courses you can add.
