Students Attend Professional Women’s Conference

Three ABAC SSOB students, Jena Fussell, Yesenia Ruiz and Hadley Driscoll along with Susan Driscoll, Dean of the SSOB, attended the Terry College of Business and Chick fil A Professional Women’s Conference held Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Chick fil A headquarters in Atlanta.  The conference offered a day of networking and learning through keynote speakers, panel discussions and small group meetings with industry leaders, female executives and mentors. The conference has a distinct focus on personal and professional development, leadership and career growth. The students also attended a networking reception the night before which offered additional opportunities to engage and interact with top professionals.  The keynote speakers were Kelly Loeffler, SVP Corporate Communications, Marketing and Investor Relations, Intercontinental Exchange which owns the New York Stock Exchange along with several other key global exchanges and she is also the Co-Owner and Co-Chairman of the WNBA, Atlanta Dream and Karole Lloyd, Southeast Regional Managing Partner, Ernest Young.
