Banner INB Users Only:

1. Install Banner INB JInitiator

2. Install Java

  • Download Java Software -- this download is Java Version 6 Update 3
  • When prompted to Run/Save, choose Run to install.
  • Once download is complete, make sure all IE sessions are closed.
  • Go TO: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin\client
  • Copy: jvm.dll
  • Go TO:
    C:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator 1.3.1.28\bin\hotspot or
    C:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator 1.3.1.26\bin\hotspot
  • Rename: jvm.dll to jvm_old.dll
  • Paste: in the new jvm.dll
  • Login into Banner INB with IE 7 on Microsoft Vista or with IE8 on Microsoft 7

3. Create an Internet Explorer Shortcut on Your Desktop
