Kathy Moreno received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Florida. Upon moving to Tifton, she returned to school for an Associate's of Science degree in Business Administration from ABAC.  Continuing her education, she attended Valdosta State University, attaining a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration and a Master's of Accounting. A full-time faculty member at ABAC, Mrs. Moreno also gives a lot of her time back to the community: Member American Institute of CPAs Member Georgia Society of CPAS President-elect, Georgia Association of Accounting Educators Master of Ceremonies, St. Anne's Episcopal Church Board Member, Tifton Museum Of Arts & Heritage Member, Exchange Club of Tifton Advisor, National Officers, Alpha Beta Gamma Advisor, Sigma Chapter, Alpha Beta Gamma Originally from Melbourne, Florida, I graduated from UF with a degree in Health Sciences. I worked as a medical nutritionist for several years, then moved to Tifton and switched gears. I graduated from VSU with a Masters in Accountancy and am a licensed CPA. I am married to Ray Moreno. We have three terrific children: Aaron, who is currently pursuing his doctorate in Medieval Spanish history at UCLA; Rachel, who has a degree in Cellular Biology and another in Spanish from UGA, and Joshua, who has a degree in History and completing one in Spanish from UGA. We also have one incredible granddaughter, Eva, who is 3 ½ years old. Aside from spoiling Eva, I also enjoy a good joke and a good book, exploring other countries and watching most athletic events (never have gotten into golf, though….)
