Taylor was named to the 2nd Team All Region as a DP as she played first base, hit in the DH spot as well as pitched for the 2014 Fillies. Taylor had a 13-5 record in the circle for the Fillies.

Campbell on Taylor: “I am super excited about Taylor being back in the circle for ABAC this year. She had a great freshman year; not only hitting but as a mainstay in the Fillie lineup. I expect Taylor to be one of the top pitchers in our conference this year as she had a 7-2 record in the circle last season. She has command of several pitches and keeps the ball down in the zone; characteristics of a really good pitcher. I look forward to seeing her in the circle in 2015.”

High school: Taylor went to Lincoln County High School where she played varsity her senior year. She received Elk Valley Times Female Athlete of the Year, Most Valuable Pitcher in District 8-AAA, Top 25 batting averages in the nation, and top 5 batting averages in Tennessee. Taylor also played for the Tennessee All-star.

Personal: Taylor was born December 29, 1994 in Huntsville, Al. to Jacky and Andrea Boyett. She has an older sister named Heather. Outside of softball Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and traveling. She also loves food, animals, and frozen yogurt.

Why ABAC? I chose ABAC because Coach Campbell really sold the campus and school to me. I remember coming on my visit to ABAC, it was near midnight and Coach Campbell drove us around campus like a mad woman in a golf cart. I knew then this was the type of atmosphere and Coach I could see myself playing for and the place I wanted to go to school.
