Campbell on P-Nut: “P-Nut is an outstanding outfielder and a natural lefty hitter. She is fundamentally sound and covers the grass extremely well. She loves the game and I expect great things from her this season.”

High School: Mikela played softball and basketball for four years at Appling County High School. She was a part of the 2-AAA Appling County High School softball team where she was named Player of the Year her sophomore year and named to the 1st team All-Region team her freshman, junior, and senior year. She was also chosen to play for the Georgia Dugout Club Elite 80 team and the Senior All-Star game her senior year.

Personal: Mikela was born on August 12, 1996, to Davy and Trina Barlow. She was raised in Baxley, Ga. and has 3 younger brothers, Mikel, Joshua, and John David Barlow. She loves to play ball, hunt, fish, and spend time with her friends and family. She is majoring in Chemistry.

Why ABAC? “I chose ABAC because I wanted the chance to play for Coach Campbell. I loved her enthusiasm about the game that we both love. I loved the way that she talked about her team. It made me excited to get here and play. ABAC was close to home, but far enough away. When I came to visit and met some of the girls, it stole my heart and I knew this is where I wanted to be! I hope to continue my journey after my years here at ABAC with another team that has a coach and players like what I have here, so that I can continue doing what I love and loving what I do!”
