Campbell on Jenna: “Jenna was a great hitter in high school and continued being a great hitter in college. I can’t wait to see her at the plate game each and every time in 2015 as she can make things happen. Defensively she is fundamentally sound and has an excellent glove so it will be exciting again this season to see her in action at the hot corner.”

High School: Jenna went to First Presbyterian Day School where she played 5 years on the varsity softball team. She made the GISA All State team her 8th grade and 9th grade years. She made the GHSA All State team her 10th grade and 12th grade years. She was a member of four region championships, as well as 2 state championship games. Jenna was named MVP three times and best offensive once.

Personal: Jenna was born on May 9th, 1995 on Macon, Ga. Her parents are Charlotte and Bo Byrd and she has an older brother, Ryan; who is just recently married. Outside of softball Jenna loves to hang out with her friends, play with her 2 wonderful dogs, and spend time with her family. Jenna enjoys the fall and summer seasons the most because of the weather.

Why ABAC? I choose ABAC because I absolutely loved the coach, the atmosphere of the school, and the small classes. I had some obstacles along the way with injuries and Coach Donna never doubted my return. That is the main reason I choose this school, is because I had a coach who believed in me.
