How do I withdraw from a class?

In order to drop a class, the student gets a drop form from the class instructor, who must sign it. Then the student should take the signed form to the Academic Support Counselors located in the bottom floor of the library.

How do I get an official transcript?

If you need an official ABAC transcript, please follow these instructions.
This link is accessible from the ABAC Home page http://www.abac.edu
Scroll to the bottom in the large green rectangle, third column, last entry.
 
Final grades have already been processed for Fall 2014. If you need your transcript held until graduation processing for Fall 2014 is completed, please mark that option in the transcript request process.
 
The basic charge for a printed-mailed copy or an electronic-sent copy is $5. You may pay by credit card or debit card online.
 
Please check Banner Web for any holds on your account. If you have no holds, your transcript will be mailed/sent processed immediately with electronic transcripts sent same day and mailed transcripts within three business days.
 
Note: If you need an unofficial transcript, you may log into Banner Web and print an unofficial from your academic records.

When will financial aid excess checks be ready?

Listed below are the dates for release of excess funds. If you have any questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 229-391-2261 or email them directly at sfs@abac.edu.
Students will NOT be allowed to pick up checks. The paper checks will be mailed to your ABAC address, if you have a box on campus, or to the mailing address in Banner.Be sure to check that your address is valid and update it in Banner if not. If you are signed up for direct deposit, be make sure the correct information is entered into eStallion.​

When is registration for Spring 2015

Priority 1 (70 or more earned credit hours) registration begins October 20 at 8:30 am

Priority 2 (45-69 earned credit hours) registration begins October 21 at 8:30 am

Priority 3 (12-44 earned credit hours) registration begins October 22 at 8:30 am

Priority 4 (less than 12 earned credit hours) registration begins October 23 at 8:30 am

 

Summer 2015 registration begins for all currently enrolled students on October 20 at 8:30 am

 

Spring 2015 registration for returning students (not currently enrolled), transfer students with more than 12 transferable credit hours, and transient students begins October 24 at 8:30 am

How do I put money on my gold card?

To add funds to the account with cash, students may visit either the Value Transfer Station (VTS) located next to the One Stop Shop on the second floor of the Student Center or the VTS located in Town Hall at ABAC Place. The Value Transfer Station accepts cash only in denominations of $1, $5, $10, and $20 and does not give change. Minimal VTS deposits are $1.00.
Deposits can also be made in the Gold Card Office in the One Stop Shop and can take the form of check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express. Deposits made in the Gold Card Office are a minimum of $50.00.

What is federal work study and how do I find a job on campus?

The Federal Work Study Program provides jobs for undergraduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to pay for educational expenses. At ABAC, participants in the Work Study Program are paid $7.25 per hour and are paid every two weeks. Most Work Study positions are located on campus, some off-campus positions may be available. The number of hours a student is allowed to work per week depends on the amount of his or her award. However, the maximum number of hours a student may work per week is 15.

If you are interested in applying for a Work Study position, you must first pick up a “Student Employee Referral Form” completed by the Financial Aid office showing you are eligible for the Work Study Program.

What’s the mailing address for students living on campus?

Students should visit the Post Office on campus, located on the bottom floor of the Branch Student Center, to receive a P.O. Box. Once assigned students may receive mail at the following address:
