Grant
Application Process
The
GAP Advisory Panel, a committee consisting of at least 2 representatives
from each one of the 8 counties in our service region, receives
copies of all applications. They review the applications for
one week and then attend a panel review meeting. Representatives
from the agencies who are submitting the grant requests are
usually present at this meeting in case there are questions
about their proposals. However, they are excused from the
proceedings before voting begins. The Grassroots Advisory
Panel then votes on the amounts and counties approved. The
recipients are notified the next day. Each grant is evaluated
following the criteria listed on the evaluation form, which
is made available to all applicants. |
