HONORARY ALUMNUS

The title of Honorary Alumnus of the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Alumni Association is the highest bestowed on a non-alumnus of the college.

The Selection Process is outlined as follows:

1. Anyone may recommend individuals who they feel have made outstanding contributions to the college, students, or alumni. These contributions can be in the form of time, service, or financial contributions.

2. Recommendations will be reviewed by Awards Committee and a list of candidates will be presented to the Alumni Board of Directors. Discussion and a decision on candidates will be made at this time.

3. Honorary Alumni will be recognized at the annual Celebrate ABAC Awards Luncheon. Recognition will be presented by the President of the Alumni Association and the President of the College. The recipients should be notified of this honor prior to Celebrate ABAC.

4. A file of all previous recommendations will be kept and will be available for committee review.
