COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this course is to provide understanding of basic surveying terminology and the fundamentals of surveying. The students will acquire knowledge of the use of surveying equipment and computations used in surveying.
TEXTBOOK: None required.
GRADES:
2 Tests 50%
Lab 30%
Final 20%
GENERAL POLICY:
You are expected to attend all class meetings. No smoking or chewing will be allowed in class. Make-up tests will only be given for a prior approved absence or a doctor’s note. Disruptive behavior will not be permitted.
GRADING SCALE:
A – 90+
B – 89-80
C – 79-70
D – 69-60
F – 59 and below
