The rodeo team at ABAC is a member of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. ABAC competes in the NIRA’s Ozark Region, composed of 14 colleges and universities ranging from Michigan to Arkansas. ABAC has the only intercollegiate team on the Eastern Seaboard.
ABAC hosts the annual Peach State Stampede in the spring of each year. Colleges from
across the U.S. participate in the only college rodeo in Georgia. Make your
plans to attend. The men’s rodeo team participates in calf roping, team roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, bareback bronco riding, and saddle bronco riding. The women’s team competes in break-away calf roping, goat tying, barrel racing, and team roping.

Hicks is the rodeo team coach. Practices are held each Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8 p.m.
