The College Transfer Family and Consumer Science Program is designed for students who wish to attend Abraham Baldwin for two years, then transfer to a senior institution and complete the requirements for the B.S. degree in Family and Consumer Science with a major in one of the following:Early Childhood Education

The Family and Consumer Science student does not have to decide on a major until the sophomore year. The first year is made up of core courses.
All freshman and transfer students entering the Family and Consumer Science program are enrolled in Career Exploration, in order to develop an understanding of the professional opportunities in Family and Consumer Sciences.
Students are strongly encouraged to join the Family and Consumer Science Club which allows the students to interact with professionals in Family and Consumer Science.A detailed listing of the courses required for these majors can be found in the ABAC catalog.
