Prior to joining ABAC Stafford School of Business as lecturer, Ms. Pertilla enjoyed a long career with AT&T Corporation in Los Angeles, CA and Atlanta, GA. During that time she received numerous recognition and top honors as a business leader in Global Markets. She developed an in-depth knowledge about international business, contracts and management. Ms. Pertilla parlayed those experiences to form her own consulting firm, Learning Community, where she has spent the last decade providing strategic planning, organizational development and capacity building solutions to Fortune companies, government agencies, nonprofit, and academic institutions.
Some of her firm’s notable works are demonstrated in the National Institute of Justice of the U.S. Department of Justice (2006-JE-FX-0006) Evaluation of the Demonstration Project To Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children in Atlanta-Fulton County; partnership with Bahamas Ministry of Tourism to produce Global Business Summit, a trade event for entrepreneurs held in Grand Bahama Island, Freeport, Bahamas; managed the national campaign launch for Worldspan e-Commerce division’s Trip Manager® product and their National Business Travel Association sponsorship, featuring ex- vice president of the United States, Al Gore; capacity development strategies to Turner Broadcasting System Supplier Diversity Program; and organizational development solutions to Georgia Perimeter College Center for Organizational Development and Carl Vinson Institute of Government.
