Programs of Study

The nursing program at ABAC prepares registered nurses through two educational tracks.  We offer the Generic track which has a traditional design and the One Year Registered Nurse track which is an accelerated bride program.  Both programs earn students an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and qualifies them to take the NCLEX-RN.  Click on the Track name below for more information about nursing admissions and curriculum.

NOTE:  Please visit the “Resources and Forms” link to view new HESI Admission Assessment (A2) Requirements.  This requirement will affect students applying for the Generic and One Year track beginning fall semester 2013.

Students wishing to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing may take core courses here at ABAC through the Transfer track.  This track offers the core coursework necessary to transfer to another institution to complete the BSN.
