Dr. Cyndy Hall
Literature and Language
Associate Professor of English; Director for the Honors Program
Focusing on 19th Century American Literature, Realism and Naturalism, Gothic Literature, and Deformity Studies, Dr. Hall earned her Ph.D from the University of California, Riverside in 2008. In 2010 her essay, “‘Colossal Vices’ and ‘Terrible Deformities’ in George Lippard’s Gothic Nightmare,” was published in Demons of the Body and Mind: Essays on Disability in Gothic Literature.
At ABAC, Dr. Hall has been the Coordinator of the Writing Center, the Coordinator for the Center for Teaching and Learning, and is currently the Director of the Honors Program. With 132 students in the program, honors students are a part of a uniquely rewarding and educationally significant living and learning community on ABAC’s campus.
