Dr. Robinson is a Professor English and a hobbyist historian. She holds graduate degrees in both disciplines, but the PhD in English from Baylor University. She has been immersed in the Rural Studies Program since the concept emerged at an administrative retreat and continues to help shape the program as it grows and matures. Dr. Robinson works with community, regional, and state agencies to place students in practicum and internship opportunities, as well as assists students with employment or graduate school applications and portfolios.
As a military wife, Dr. Robinson has lived and taught in numerous universities around the country and out of the country. She is cat lover with an unfortunate penchant for finding strays on her early morning power walks. She loves travel, especially international travel, is an avid reader, gardens grudgingly, and cooks way too much.
