PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION METHODS. 3 hours. Development, delivery and evaluation of effective means of communication by use of a variety of presentation methods. The use of current technology within different audience dimensions will be a focus.

CAPSTONE SEMINAR: SENIOR PROJECT. 3 hours. This seminar places special emphasis on rural communities’ abilities to address the forces that are transforming and impacting community viability and well-being. Students may examine contemporary economic, social, cultural, or political issues affecting rural societies. Students will be expected to develop a business plan for a business of their choosing or to design a substantial writing/communication project appropriate to their individual career goals. All projects must have approval of the instructor and the major advisor.
