Bachelor of Applied Science in Diversified Agriculture


Agribusiness has an economic impact of over $70 billion in Georgia and over $100 billion in Florida.  Sixteen percent of Georgia’s employment base is associated with agriculture. Successful completion of this degree will prepare you for a wide array of exciting and challenging careers within agriculture.  Career possibilities include crop and livestock farming, sales and marketing in agriculture-related businesses, extension and other government service careers, crop consulting, precision agriculture, agricultural economics, and positions at commercial agricultural production firms such as farms, ranches, poultry, swine, dairy and beef operations.  Students will learn the principles of managing land, crops, livestock, pests, people, money and other resources as they prepare to be tomorrow’s agricultural workers and leaders who will help feed and clothe an ever increasing population.
