Hispanic/Latino Scholarships




Thank you for your interest in Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) and the scholarship we offer to Hispanic/Latino students. This scholarship was made possible from a grant from The Goizueta Foundation. Mr. Roberto C. de Goizueta established The Goizueta Foundation in 1992 to provide financial assistance to educational and charitable institutions. At ABAC, there is one scholarship aimed at enrolling, retaining, and graduating Hispanic/Latino students.

The Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund Scholarship  Deadline to apply: April 28, 2017

The intent of The Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund Scholarship is to fully support the cost of an academic year which includes unfunded tuition, fees, books, and other expenses related to the cost of education to the extent available funds allow. To be eligible to receive The Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund Scholarship a student must:

  • Submit completed application
  • Be of Hispanic/Latino Descent
  • Reside in the United States
  • Apply and be accepted to ABAC
  • Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Take the ACT and or SAT
  • Residency status is not considered for this scholarship

Goizueta Scholars Fund Application and Forms

*Recommendation forms are included on page 4-5 of the application. For your convenience, recommendation forms are available if needed individually.


 

Scholarships are awarded up to demonstrated need and are renewable up to a maximum of 3 years for an Associate’s degree and 5 years for a Bachelor’s degree.

We encourage students to apply for other scholarships and opportunities as these scholarships are grant funded.
