Placement Testing

The placement test for the University System of Georgia is used to test a student’s preparedness for college-level course work. Writing, math, and reading are the three key areas tested. ACCUPLACER is the approved placement test that is administered to students. COMPASS scores, that are not older than three years, can also be submitted until 12/31/19. Please see the information below to determine if you’ll be required to test.

Students can take the placement exam a maximum of three times. There is no cost to take the placement exam the first time for those who have applied to ABAC. A $30 testing fee is required for each additional attempt. See ‘Remote Placement Testing” below to take the placement exam at another institution.
