College gives you lots of choices. And we’re here to help you make those important decisions which will affect the rest of your life. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

Choosing a major can seem to be an overwhelming dilemma. It’s not. You can select from 40 college transfer majors which provide all the course work necessary to move on to a senior college or university, or you can pick from 15 career and technological majors and be ready for the job market in two years.

Currently, one-year certificate programs are also available. Georgia residents who qualify should be able to take these programs at no cost through the HOPE Grant.

Your career choice belongs to you. ABAC offers plenty of majors which spotlight outdoor activities in the forestry, horticulture, and wildlife areas. Other programs fit those people who like indoor jobs such as nursing, teaching, and accounting. Look around. Find a major which best suits your particular talents.

Career majors often feature internship programs where you gain on-the-job experience. College transfer majors focus primarily on the core curriculum...classes necessary at almost all colleges and universities to complete a bachelor’s degree. These classes concentrate on humanities, mathematics and the natural sciences, social sciences, and courses in your major field of study.

Credits earned at ABAC transfer to all University System of Georgia institutions and to most other accredited colleges and universities in the nation.

Your future awaits. Make your choice.
