Convert Word or WordPerfect Documents to FrontPage

 

Easy vs. Complicated

 

Easy Route

Word or WordPerfect

1)      Open Word or WordPerfect – Start, Programs, Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect

2)      Open existing document in Word/WordPerfect -- Ctrl+O (open)

3)      File,

4)      Save as Web Page

5)      Provide an appropriate drive (e.g., web drive) and filename

6)      Save

7)      Exit Word/WordPerfect -- Alt+F4 (exit)

 

 

Complicated Route

Part I

Word or WordPerfect

8)      Open Word or WordPerfect – Start, Programs, Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect

9)      Open existing document in Word/WordPerfect -- Ctrl+O (open)

10)  Select the entire document in Word/WordPerfect  -- Ctrl+A (select all)

11)  Copy the selected document -- Ctrl+C (copy)

12)  Exit Word/WordPerfect -- Alt+F4 (exit)

 

Part II

FrontPage

1)      Open FrontPage – Start, Programs, Microsoft FrontPage

2)      Paste the copied document into FrontPage -- Ctrl+V (paste)

3)      Select the entire document in FrontPage  -- Ctrl+A (select all)

4)      Change the line spacing options --

a)      Format

b)      Paragraph

c)      Spacing -- Set the following to 1 (one)

i)        Before

ii)       After

iii)     Word

iv)     Line Spacing

5)      Save document in FrontPage – Ctrl+S (save)
