BEFORE you login into WebCT Vista, please complete Steps 1-3.

Step 1. Disable Pop-Up Blocker or Allow Sites
Step 2. Check the time zone, date, and time on your PC.
Note: Setting the time zone, date, and time will stop your "session timed out" errors.
Step 3. Install Java and Browser TuneUp
Note: Installing the correct version of Java will stop the security warnings.
Step 4. WebCT Vista Log In -- Instructions to Log In
Step 5. Change your WebCT password

Remove Spyware, Hijackers, etc.

When I select a Word or PowerPoint file in my course, and click Open, it doesn't open within my browser.

When I right-click on a Word or PowerPoint link in Vista and select "Save Target As," I get the error: "Internet Explorer cannot download from... Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."
