Select Numeric from Create column [pull-down]
Green arrow [button]
Provide a Field Name in Column Label [text box] for the name of this grade
Select the type of alignment [pull-down]
Select the number of decimals [pull-down]
Provide the maximum number of points this field can be worth
Select Grade-related Column [checkbox]
Select Released to Student [checkbox] IF you are ready for the grade to be visible to students
Save [button]
