Open My Computer [icon] or Windows Explorer [Start, Programs, Accessories]
Right click on the drive (e.g., Floppy drive or Zip drive)
Format [pop-up menu]
Start [button]
OK [button]
Progress bar will display the status
Formatting a Zip disk takes a while. Formatting a Floppy disk
is fairly quick.
OK [button]
Close [button] to exit formatting or Return to Step 4 to format another disk.
