iMOD 2004™ Installation Notes
Please note that there are the four executable (.exe) installation files on the
iMOD 2004™ CD. Three of these files are in a folder titled "Components" and
include dotnetfx.exe (.NET framework), Jet40Sp3_Comp.exe (Jet 4.0), and
mdac_typ.exe (Microsoft Data Access Components 2.7)). These are supporting
applications that must be installed first for the iMOD 2004™ software to install
and run successfully.
To install the iMOD 2004™ software, first install all files in the "Components"
folder. Then run the USG IMOD 2004.exe file located at the main or root level of
the CD.
If the new software is installed on a machine that has the original iMOD™
installed, you will be prompted to uninstall the original version before
installation of the new version can proceed.
iMOD™ help files are also copied to the user's machine during the installation
process. More information is available at http://www.alt.usg.edu/imod/index.html.
