Eudora: Create a Filter that uses a Stationery
1) Tools [menu]
2) Filters [pull-down menu]
3) New [button]
4) Match: Incoming
5) Header: To
6) Contains: “Your e-mail username only (e.g., apwillis“
7) And
8) Header: From
9) Contains: “abac”
10) Action: Reply with
11) Select Stationery that you saved
12) Then close the Filters – [second X in the top right
corner]
13) Yes [button] response to “Save changes to filters?”
Notes:
As soon as you save the filters, the new filter is in
effect.
If you want to disable the filter, put something in
the Contains box (#6 above) that would never be true like “Junk” (i.e. the
recipient would never be Junk) to avoid having to “create” the filter the next
time.
Your “From” in #8 above only allows your auto reply
to go ABAC addresses.
If you prefer ABAC and non-ABAC recipients to get
your autoreply, omit #7 and #8.
