CHEM 1211 Announcements

ABACLive is now working again. The hosting site (not ABAC) had some kind of unknown technical problem that has now been fixed. You won't be able to see today's class, but the others are working. The sound from last Wednesday had a problem because of the fan, which makes it very difficult to hear me. Hopefully all of the technical problems are finished for the semester; this has been very reliable in the past.

I will periodically post announcements to this page. I have posted notes on WebCT. You should print these (if you choose) before you come to class. I will not provide them as handouts.

I have posted old exams for chapters 1 and 2 on the Exams Page. Note the warning in the syllabus.

We will meet lab the first week. I will go over policies, procedures, the syllabus, and safety.

There has been confusion in the past concerning pre-lab questions and the lab experiment that we are performing. DO NOT rely on the order in the lab manual--look to the syllabus. Be sure that you are reading and preparing for the correct experiment. We are doing the density experiment first starting on Thursday, August 25. The pre-lab questions are on WebCT. You should read pages 1-14 as you prepare.
