EXCEL GRAPHING (2003 Version)

Objective: curve-fitted linear graph. Other types of graphs: specified during the selection of the trend line.

1. Enter Data (2 columns)

2. Click on the “Chart Wizzard” on the menu bar on top of the page

3. Select the XY SCATTER type and sub-type (if necessary).

4. After the selections are finished, click “Finish”. This gives you the graph you want

5(Optional). In the Chart menu on the top of the page, select “Add Trend Line”. In the Trend Line page, click on the “Type” tab and select the “Linear” option, then click Ok.

5. Click on the x and/or y axis to set the range of data you want to show on the final graph.
