Science involves a lot more than that frog you dissected in
junior high school. It’s innovative, it’s interesting, and it can actually
be a lot of fun.
Biology, chemistry, computer science,
mathematics, physics, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, medicine, allied
health, and engineering are some of your choices. All of these areas
of study require two years at ABAC and two additional years at a senior
college or university to obtain a bachelor’s degree. Some of these programs
also require admission to a professional school after receiving a
bachelor’s degree.
Graduates of the science and mathematics division
find employment in fields that stretch as far as your imagination. Our
alumni work as physicians, veterinarians, engineers, researchers, high
school and college teachers, pharmacists, physical therapists, building
contractors, computer scientists, instructional technologists, and in a
variety of sales positions.
State-of-the-art laboratories in biology, anatomy
and physiology, chemistry, physics, and computer science, along with
multimedia instructional materials in all classrooms and laboratories, add
emphasis to your learning experience.
The exotic animal collection housed in the
division provides a resource for ABAC students and the thousands of school
children who tour the building each year.
