Autumn in New England combines the color of the season with
great destinations including the White and Green Mountains of Vermont & New
Hampshire, the coastline of

October 1 … Today features the scenic harbor towns which retain the
atmosphere of an old
October 2 … We depart the
Coast and travel west to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The vibrant colors of Autumn come alive along
the drive to Franconia Notch. This glacier-created valley has been a tourist
destination since the 1800’s and provides a grand backdrop as we ascend the
tram to the top of
October 3 … Today enjoy the lovely
New England countryside of
October 4 … Travel today
along the breath-taking
October 5 … A local guided tour of this beautiful area of the Green Mountains
including the Ski Village of Stowe, a tour of the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream
shop … (try a sample and learn the history of this local product), the Cold
Hollow Cider Mill and a wonderful lunch at the VanTrapp Lodge which will leave
you singing the songs from the Sound of
Music! Return to
October 6 … Depart
Burlington and continue south with a morning break at the Shelburne Museum,
a unique collection in a village-like setting of
historic New England architecture, accented by a gardened landscape, impressionist
paintings, folk art, quilts, decorative furniture, and a dazzling array of
17th-to 20th-century artifacts.
Continuing south the tour travels through small mountain towns with
beautiful church steeples reaching to the sky amid the colors of autumn …
timing allows ample opportunity to get off the bus and walk around to smell the
clean air of the highlands before arriving to the Ski Resort at
October 7 … Breakfast and we continue south out of
October 8 … Departing from Foxwoods, the
tour travels along New England’s pristine coast to the seaside town of
October 9 … Morning

How to Confirm Reservations: Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is important that reservations and deposits be made at the earliest possible date to ensure availability of a particular tour. Payments are to be mailed to the address above, credit card call-in, or drop off payments at the Public Service and Business Outreach office at ABAC.
Luggage Handling: Luggage service on overnight tours is limited to one large bag per person. You may also bring a small carry-on for which you are responsible. Remember not to over pack. Airlines will charge for luggage weighing over 50 pounds. Airlines will charge a baggage fee for every checked luggage (not included).
